CheckBills.pk is an independent, self-funded website created and maintained by Sayedah Meh Para Basheer, an SEO specialist and content writer based in South Punjab, Pakistan. The site provides free access to MEPCO electricity bill information, tariff guides, billing calculators, and consumer resources for the 13 districts served by Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) — including Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, Vehari, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, Layyah, Pakpattan, and Rajanpur.

What Information We Collect

The bill checker tool on this site requires only your 14-digit MEPCO reference number or 10-digit Customer ID — both of which are printed on your physical electricity bill and are non-sensitive connection identifiers. We do not ask for, store, or transmit your CNIC, bank account details, mobile number, password, or OTP at any point.

📊 Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, CheckBills.pk collects standard server log data when you visit — including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used solely for site performance analysis and security monitoring. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics data is anonymised and does not identify individual users.

✅ We do not collect: your CNIC number, MEPCO account password, bank details, payment information, biometric data, or any personally sensitive information. The reference number you enter into the bill checker is used only to fetch your bill from PITC’s server — it is not stored in our database.

Google Analytics (analytics.google.com) — provides anonymised traffic reporting. Governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
